Wendell Gowie- wgowie@yahoo.com

Wendell is an aspiring sportswriter who currently attends college to obtain a degree in Mass Communications. He was born and raised in the city of Baltimore and has lived in Maryland his whole life. Wendell didn't grow an interest in football until the age of 6. Once his interest grew for the sport, he started to specifically admire the quarterback position. Everywhere he went, you could spot him wearing a NFL quarterback jersey, but his favorites were his Troy Aikman, Brett Favre & Vinny Testaverde (Baltimore Ravens) jerseys.

Now at the age of 20, Wendell loves to speak about sports, whether it's debating or simply talking about the outcome of games. He's an ESPN-aholic. Since the age of 13, Wendell hasn't gone a single day without watching Sportscenter or ESPNews. Someday he hopes to make it as a Sportswriter/Sportscaster and hopefully follow the footsteps of his idols, Chris Broussard and Adam Schefter.

When it comes to bleeding Purple & Black, THAT is an understatement when talking about this guy because he will stick up for his team no matter what situation is. One of Wendell's most memorable quotes is "Although Baltimore isn't the most exciting, cleanest or friendliest cities in the US, the Ravens make me proud to say I'm a Baltimorean".
