According to Mort--No signature yet but agreed on 6 year 50.8 million.

Didn't take long for that to happen after Dennis Green criticized him and his agent for holding out this long.

He should have come out last year. If that contract report is true, then he made out as if he were taken within the top three picks. Can't wait to read the signing bonus.

I think that was the teamsaving face. I think the owner/VP asked him to do that because reports for the last two weeks were that the Cards hadn't come close to a reasonable deal. Leinart had to make more in Guarantee's and total value to Cutler's, and close to Vince's. They were being ridiculous. Once Bush signed Leinart still hadn't rec'd an offer greater then '05's #10 without ridiculous buyback clauses.
