Basically, they screwed the pooch giving Freeney such a large deal. Glenn is pissed they wouldn't extend him and pay him more, and he's a pro bowl type OT that protect's Manning's blindside. And they trade a 1st rounder to San Fran for a 2nd rounder this year to draft an OT to replace Glenn. Look like he'll have to start from day 1.


This is where I love Ozzie. He'll play our players well, but to their abilities, and usually not overpay to the point where it ticks off other players.


In any case, I'm looking forward to Suggs getting extended, but to a deal thats reasonable and not irresponsible. The Freeney deal was just stupid.
