I was so geeked by meeting the UK crew that I told someone during the 1st quarter that we were ahead "6-nil." Didn't mean to say it - it just blurted out.

CELERY!

When you brits get access to the net, would love to hear about your gameday experiece...and what you thought of baltimore.

The first evening and the next day in Baltimore was a little intimidating to me.Everything was so big.I suppose its like a country boy coming to the city
for the first time. But once we had walked around for awhile. It was just like walking around home.

I even thought Friday night was just like a Friday night in Brighton England.
The Inner harbor was beautiful.Enjoyed the Duck tour and learning all the history. If I had the money to move, and a job to go to.And a way of convincing the wife,I would look into moving to Baltimore.

But more than anything,it was the warmth and positive attitude of the people I met that really won me over.:patriot:

I really should have got around to posting sooner than this. As I think you all know we all had an absolutely brilliant time and I don't think any of us can wait until next year. I hope you enjoyed having us around and will all remember the songs for the Chargers tailgate! Next time we’ll have some more for you all to learn.

Thanks to all of you for making us feel so welcome, especially Ben who gave up most of his weekend and looked after us brilliantly. Great bloke, we all really appreciate it.:uk:

HIP HIP CELERY!

(did I get it right?)

In a word ,No.

I cannot print the words due to its adult, pornagraphic nature.:p

You just have to be there, hard hats on, celery whizzing through the air.

Singing the Celery song at the top of your voices, and Raider nation looking on like the martians have just landed.

I can picture them getting back to their families.Saying,"I never want to go back to that whacko place ever again.I need to go see my shrink stat."

Are you Cleveland in disguise?

:rolling:

Cripes . . . I had almost gotten that song out of my head and then there you go. Hehehehehehe

I still can't get over the look on those Raiders goobers faces when we were singing that. They were like . . . WTF . . . . hehehehehe

In which case Lady - it's your opportunity to sing it to the SD fans - if there are any.:D It actually works best when you know the result - I took a flyer with the Raiders, which seemed to work:thumbup:

It works in a few ways:
If your opposition is rubbish (Raiders) you relate them to an even worse team (Cleveland, Houston):rolling:

If your opposition is rubbish (Cleveland) and (nearly) beats you:grbac: you sing 'are you Seahawks in disguise' :glasses:

If your opposition is supposed to be good and loses - give 'em the Cleveland/Houston treatment:laugh: BIG TIME!!!!
