Wow, 3 AFCN teams in the top 4 on the Fox ranking! We are in for a dogfight in the division this year.

I disagree that the Steelers looked dominant on Thursday. The Dolphins had all the momentum for a little while after they scored to take the lead and then Pitt fumbled at the goal line, but they gave the Steelers the game after that.

I know its early but the AFC is ahead 7-3 in the top 10 vs the NFC.

the Steelers were absolutely dominant on Thursday night.
:rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

Errrr uhhh.... yea. I guess Miami throwing away a lead with 6-minutes left, equates to Pittsburgh being "absolutely dominant".

The Steelers looked dominant for 15 minutes out of a 60 minute ball game if you ask me,werent the Dolphins LEADING up until those picks???Its clear who the best division in football is,did someone say NFC East??? looks like they are 1-3 to start out.

Our div. ( AFCN ) will be a slug fest until the end.

If we can stay healthy, play as a team and not look to far ahead, we should have a good chance.

Even Cleveland's up to #26. Is this the Power Rankings equivalent of a contact high?

BS

LOL at Pittsburgh being "dominant." They were losing 17-14 with about six minutes left in the fourth quarter at their home opener. Kudos to them for winning, but they were hardly dominant.

Back to the Ravens, this early praise almost makes me a little nervous. It doesn't look like we can sneak up on anyone now. But power rankings aside, it still looks like most will pick us behind the Steelers and Bengals, and at this point, how can you really argue that position? It's going to be a tough division to win.

Question -- will Cleveland win a division game?

A LITTLE low??? #14 are you freakin kidding me??? All those clowns over there at CBS picked us to go 7-9 or 8-8 anyway,I wonder what we will be up to after we dismantle the Raiders,12 maybe???

,I wonder what we will be up to after we dismantle the Raiders,12 maybe???

Unless we win by some outrageous score like 42-0, we probably won't move up at all in that Sportsline poll, because we will be expected to win big.

But that's okay, because these power rankings don't mean squat. Let's see how they rank us at the end of the year.

Cant really argue with those rankings. The Steelers are pretty much #1 by default since they are the Superbowl champs and won without Big Ben. The Dolphins were overrated though coming into the season especially since Dante is not at 100%.

Haha, so true. He is easily my least favorite columnist, and the only sports media member who talks about his wife more than Nestor.

I don't really get the Dr. Z hatred. He's far from my favorite NFL columnist, but I don't think he's anti-Baltimore like so many of us here seem to think. He may be getting a little cranky in his later years, but he ranked us second in his power rankings, so where exactly is the Baltimore bias? He has given us props in the past, as he is now. If you don't like him, that's fine, but I don't get this "he's out to get us" train of thought.

Go check some of his past articles, especially around the Super Bowl.It all stems from Ray Lewis and how we destroyed the Giants in the SB,I believe he is from NY,he never misses a chance to take a shot at us.

3. Ravens (1-0): Steve McNair is to Kyle Boller what Filet Mignon is to an ear booger.

#8 Maybe it's nitpicking, but the Ravens need to find a way to turn more of their red-zone trips into TDs. FGs are nice, but you need to score TDs in the NFL to win.
