Sorry for the OT, but for those here who may know me, I asked CJ to marry me last night and she said yes (surprisingly).

I'm announcing this one hour before gametime hoping it brings some luck to our Ravens.

Also this hopefully will buy me some major slack for football watching over the next few months!!

Congratulations from me and my 'trouble and strife' :)

Let's hope it is an positive omen for the game in 45 mins. You need LR127's mojo.

First the engagement ring.

Then the wedding ring.

Finally the suffer-ring.

When did CJ start doing charity work?

Congradulations to both you and the young lady Fells.

So when's the bachelor party?:D

If this is the type of karma a member here brings when making this type of announcement, then I highly recommend the rest of the single members here with girl friends man up to the plate!!

Mrs WxKevin was just asking yesterday if you had popped the question. I was supposed to ask you if I head out with you guys this Friday.

I'd plied her with a liberal amount of expensive wine, so yes. Although with a clear head today she still seems quite excited about it, so I think we're still on!

I may indeed have to propose to her every Saturday night from now on if what happened today is the result. As long as I can use the same ring.

Again, thanks to all of you for your kind words!

i can not escape that question, even on the internet.

i saw no reason to gte married. we lived together forever. i already paid all the bills. we were married without me having to spend the money.

finally i spent the money. everyone has asked what took so long? also, is she pregnant. LOL.

thanks for the well wishes, but this is Fells thread. i did not mean to divert any attention.

Hey, no problem IJ. We may as well celebrate the end of bachelorhood in one place. We've been together four and a half years, living together three and a half, and I've got 'what took you so long?' shouted at me for the past 48hours.

Glad to see another right thinking man on board here - congratulations to you on your recent nuptials and well done on holding out so long!

some people do not appreciate the difficulty and technique that go into "holding out" that long. thank you. and again, congrats to you.

i've been together with my fiancee for almost 4 years...true, we had to wait because I just graduated college, but you need that time to allow both of you to grow together, to really make sure this isn't a rush and this isn't just a passing thing. Now, getting on 6-7 years, that might be a bit too long...

Wait just a sec...When we won Super Bowl XXXV Amy was about a month pregnant with Joey. I think it worked out to our trip to AZ in December! That desert air! Anyway, we know how that turned out so GET CRACKING!

Oh yeah, and see Admin's note regarding those Cohibas and  to camden for the call!

Although Greg happens to be a genetic jackhammer when it comes to planting his, err..."seed", I wouldn't necessarily advocate you being so quick to impregnate the missus, mate...

You have your whole lives ahead of you to start a family, so making sure you're financially and emotionally ready for such a step is wise...(Who am I Dr. Phil??!!!)

Anyways, CONGRATS brother!! Ship my Cohiba to Camp Pendleton and we'll call it even...
