And she is a hypocrite because she picks and chooses which parts of her "Christian faith" she follows. Gay marriage is taboo for her, but it's ok for her to get a boob job despite the Bible saying your body is a temple of God. She's a fundie whackjob bimbo and I'll still feel that way no matter what the majority of Americans think.

So if she said she was in favor of gay marriage then everything would be fine?

She was asked a question and answered it. Unless Im not aware of other comments she made I don't see where she was telling others how to live.

The thing about gay marriage is that those of us who support it view it as a matter of equal rights. So in that sense it really doesn't matter what your, my, Prejean's, or the whole of the country's opinion is. (So while we'll support ballot initiative legalization campaigns, the very idea of a civil rights matter being put to a vote is morally loathsome, no matter the result.)

The sad thing about most true believers, as opposed to the socially or culturally religious, is that they are "fundamentally" unable to keep out of your shit. If this wasn't the case we wouldn't ever have to talk about politics and belief at the same time.
