Before writing this off as PFT nonsense, it was actually reported from Aaron Wilson, via the Carroll County Times. So this isn't bunk after all.
Great news. I think as long as Mason wants to be back, Ozzie and Steve B are going to find a way to do it. I just hope Ozzie doesn't use this as his "get out of getting a #1 WR" card...Re-signing Derrick is only half the solution...

I don't really get why so many people brush off PFT as "nonsense"?

Good news, glad this wont be long and drawn out. This will give us a good idea of what we have. As long as we add 2 young talented WR's that can help for years to come then im totally happy with this. Mason will benefit from having playmakers around him as far as opening the field just as much as those young playmakers will benefit from learning from

I just mean because in the past, they've gone with some leads which led absolutely nowhere. I still watch the site for stories, but I tempted them with grains of salt. When I saw it was Aaron Wilson running the story, I knew it was a good lead.
I can't think of the exact story, but Chris Mortensen ran with a story last year that PFT backed...had something to do with the Ravens, ended up being 100% hot air. Someone help me out here?
EDIT: I remember now...Mort has reported Vick to Ravens was likely, and I think PFT ran with it. To their credit, they also followed up the next day and said it appeared to be just gossip and Mort looked to be wrong. But I just mean I always temper their posts with the thought that they are just generally reporting based on someone else's report, and depending on the source, that report may be wrong.

He does work for the NFP.
And PFT is now affiliated with NBC Sports. They have been much better since affiliating with the.

Ok...we need Mason and a LEGITIMATE starting WR. Preferrably, a #1, but I'd take a GOOD #2 like Mason. And Mark Clayton does not qualify.
After that, I'd say our 3rd piece of the puzzle is a good drafted WR, someone that will take over for Mason when he retires...which could be as soon as next year.
So I'll agree with 1/3
