Flacco and Oher make this USA Today's annual team (http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/2010-01-26-all-joe-team_N.htm)

Nice to see some recognition. Cheap recognition but noticed nonetheless.

I hate the Probowl moved before the SB, used it as a wind-down to the season, kinda like a movie that never ends at the climax but always has an epilogue for a little bit afterwards to tie things up.
That said, I probably will not watch it this year .

On a tangent, article says that 16% replaced because true probowlers are still playing post-season. Kind of cheapens probowl status. I guess the players love it because those 16% probably have bonus clauses in their contracts if they make the bowl. Wonder if those replaced still get their bonuses? Greedy owners must love that scenario.

Most importantly, we gladly renounce the rights to All-Joe all-timer London Fletcher of the Redskins, whose Joe eligibility should have been exhausted long ago. The linebacker who's made 100-plus tackles for 11 consecutive years and whose streak of 192 consecutive starts is second only to Brett Favre among active players finally got his Pro Bowl promotion when New Orleans' Jonathan Vilma vacated his spot.
I'm not knocking Fletcher, think he is one heck of a player, but never considered him "probowl" and still don't, whole thing is now a cheapened sham, NFL grabs the extra possible dollars again.

I think Fletcher was definitely a Pro Bowl caliber player when he was with the St. Louis Rams. In fact his play and leadership during that time, although not in the same league as Ray Lewis (but then again, nobody was during those early post-millenium years), was Top 3 in the NFL, with only Derrick Brooks a notch above him.
