NFC East
Cowboys; overacheivers. won in December and in playoffs. monkey gone.
Eagles; meh. looked great, hit a wall. Reid/McNabb get another chance.
Giants; underacheive. fired d-coord after late fade. was Plaxico that important?
Skins; way under. Did they really start 6-2 last year?

NFC North
Vikings; borderline over. stumble in NFCC leaves a bad taste. doubt Brett wants to end that way.
Packers: overacheive. finished strong. Vikes-Packers next year should be fun.
Bears; underacheive. Lovie & co get on more chance.
Lions; borderline over. breaking the losing streak is an accomplishment.

NFC South
Saints; way over. New Orleans finds out playing in the SB is even more fun than hosting it.
Falcons; borderline under. like Dolphins, a little fall to earth. decent long term prospects.
Panthers; way underacheive. big collapse, and no one know why. was it Delhomme or is there more to it?
Bucs; underacheive. every loss added $ to Jon Gruden's next contract.

NFC West
Cards; overacheive. Kurt Warner has won more playoff games for this franchise in 2 years than anyone else in its 60-year history.
49ers; meh. looks like they found a qb.
Seahawks; way underacheive. qb is old, coach fired...these guys collapsed quick.
Rams; non-acheive. what a mess.

Nothing but nit-picks that aren't worth calling out, looks good.

On the flip side to the AFC one, I like the Panthers over on win total next year quite a bit. They had a tough schedule this year (#2 toughest according to FO) and Delhomme was a disaster. Moore, on the other hand, looks like he could be a pretty good solution. Panthers go 4-1 down the stretch with him under center, and he finishes with a 4:1 TD:INT ratio - only Brett Favre had better - and over 8 AYPA - better than Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Kurt Warner. Their O and D will remain mostly in-tact from what I can tell, they were a bye-week team last year and if Moore really is the solid QB he seemed to be at the end of last season, I think they've got a really good chance at nothing less than 11 wins.

you wonder if, like the raiders and Titans, their season would have been completely different wi an earlier qb change.

Who, Alex Smith? I don't know, he still seems shaky. It wouldn't surprise me if they took a QB in the first round if it's available.

I legitimately believe the Raiders would have been a playoff team had they started Garcia rather than cut him.
