Nice rundown of the top 15 WR's in the draft, including comparisons to current players...

Yeah, I'm worried that NFL scouts have their draft boards similar. Nicks is no way the #5 best WR in this class, but that's where I'm seeing him on virtually every draft board. To me, that's flat ridiculous. If he ran a 4.39 instead of a 4.49, he'd probably be taken higher than Crabtree and I don't think he'd fall out of the top 5 picks.
I started a thread on him. I am completely, 100% on his bandwagon right now. The TJ Houshmandzadeh comparison is a great one. The other guy I think he compares really well to is Derrick Mason. If I could get a Derrick Mason at #26 overall, I'd take that every single year.
I also really like Kenny Britt and would be happy if we could trade down a couple spots and still get hold of him. Also wouldn't mind Derrick Williams in the 2nd or 3rd round...I actually think he might fall a bit and we could have a shot at him in the 4th.

yeah, i like nicks alot. i think he's a little more explosive and strong than mason. i like the idea of taking a burner this year, but williams in the 3rd or 4th would be where to do it, not the 1st with DHB. i think its definitely a possibility that we take more than one WR this draft, but i would also be fine with a guy like tyson jackson in the first and iglesias in the second. it would also be nice to possibly trade back into the second and have two picks in the range of kenny britt and gilbert. another guy we will probably continue to have interest in is ramses barden...

I love Britt as potentially the next Hines Ward. Have you seen that guy over the middle? He blocks like a freight train.
Remember how Clayton was pimped as being a great blocker cause he loved getting in there and mixing it up? Britt is like Clayton like that, except that he's about twice as big as Clayton.
I would really live for us getting a huge blocking WR to put a hurtin' on Steeler DBs the way Ward does ours (and everyone else's)...

yeah, he's a big frame to be a great red zone target. not much of the deep threat everyone wants us to get.
in other news, have you heard about the talks of the rule change pertaining to blocking downfield when the defender is turned the opposite way? the hines ward rule would try to stop the cheap shots he's been handing out his whole career.
