Since next year is the 20th anniversary of the O's "Why Not?" season, i think this Ravens team would compare to that team. I know it's difficult to compare MLB to the NFL, but it's about exceeding expectations. The reason why I'm comparing these teams is for two reasons;
1. Both have come into the season projecting to finish last their respective divisions ('89 O's last place in the AL East, coming into Spring Training and This year's team in training camp)
2. Both teams are young and talented (i.e. '89 O's: Steve Finley, Brady Anderson, Mike Devereaux, Bob Milacki, Gregg Olson, etc to '08 Ravens, Scott, Lewis, McClain, Flacco, etc)
I could go on and on. Otherwise, it's been a great season for both of these teams. Your thoughts.
