Just now starting my morning recovery. Time to cheer for an early entry into the playoffs. Havnt figured out what happens with the standings but winning the above games cant be bad. Where's the coffee, wheres the advil ?? :beer1:

beating Jax next weeks gives us the 6th seed (which is our only possibility). first round we'd play the AFC East champs, which will probably be the jets. I think we can beat them; I know we can take the Dolphins. I hope it's not New England, but they aren't the same with Cassell.
any playoff game is sweet considering how everyone thought we'd only have 4-6 wins this year!!!

I agree I just want to Win next week and be in! However I have to root for Tenn today... I could never cheer for Shittsburg!

I woulds also rather play the Fins for the first game. However, it would b great to end up playing Tenn for the AFC Camps! Then head to TAMPA !!

We're gonna play whoever wins the East, it's practically a guarantee. I would like it to be the Fins or the Jets, I really don't want to go to NE and play them.

Yeah there's precious little chance that anything today will affect us either getting into the playoffs or who we play once we get there. So its nice to just relax and watch the games.

The big question then is who do you want to win the AFC east?

- Pats? they win it if they win out and both Jets and Fins lose once. That's plausible to me as I can see the Jets losing to the Seahawks then the Fins losing to th Jets next week.

- Fins? Win out and they're in.

- Jets? Win out and THEY're in.

So who do you want (counting on Ravens victory over Jags next week.)?

ursula, how do the Fins and the Jets get in if they win out? That's not possible. Do the Jets hold the tiebreaker?

Ah. Probably I didn't write that well. Sorry! Here's what I meant to say:

Obviously both the Fins and Jets can't BOTH win out as they play each other next week. But whoever wins that game plus if they win this week than that team wins out and they get the title (I believe) at 11-5 over the Pats even if the Pats do the same. The loser of next week's Fins -Jets finishes 10-6 at best and are out of the playoffs. (I think. There may be some implausible chances for the loser of Fins-Jets making the playoffs.... the Ravens and Pats would have to lose... even then maybe not.)

Honestly I see the Seahawks beating the Jets this week in Seattle. If so the Jet's postseason hopes are basically (not completely I believe) gone and thus they'll not have so much incentive in beating the Fins the last week. So I give Miami the best chance to win the east and host the Ravens. I'm not betting the house on that scenario but it seems most likely. IMO

Honestly? I'd rather play the Dolphins than the Jets. The Patriots I think can be beat. The Dolphins we've already beaten.

The Jets scare me. I know Brett is old and we've beaten him before. But he is still mighty dangerous.
