I loved that block attempt on Ray Lewis, I bet he thought he was going to tee off on Ray Ray then nearly crapped himself when he noticed 52 turned around and saw him coming.

"this is a man's game, jerk!"

I loved it, I watched it like 5 times, hopefully Ward tries the same shit and Ray hits him 10 times harder

That was brilliant Ray knew exactly where TJ was and let him have it.

The replays were great!!:ww:

It was at the end of the first half on their FG drive if I remember rightly. Fitzpatrick scrambling up the left sideline, Housh came over to lay a block and as Ray couldn't get to the Harvard grad he just laid out Housh rather than taking the block.

Fair play to the long haired one though, dusted himself and next play made no bones about going across the middle for a big gain into Ravens territory. Once again that drive was our defence having issues with teams going no huddle, it's a rare weak spot for our defence, but fortunately there aren't too many teams that uber competent running it.

pretty funny.....Housh trying to pull a "Hines Ward" on Ray. Ray laid him out. Gotta have eyes in the back of your head on a football field...

After putting up with 5 minutes incessant CBS-TV announcers' babble about Houshmandzadeh yesterday, instead of providing a play-by-play of the game, I could go for a few months without seeing his name again.

I looked all over, its not on nfl.com, I'll keep trying though.

edit: I found it....

watch about the 1:15 mark when Fitzpatrick starts running

edit 2: watch around the 2:30 mark, I just caught this, after Leonhards INT, Suggs comes over and just LEVELS someone, I think #82 from the Bungles...damn!

We have a team of cannonballs and it's only a matter of time before someone gets beheaded by them, ala The Patriot.

All that said it was an effective block, he stopped Lewis hitting Fitzpatrick... who would have been truly jacked up.

I know Rolle is coming back down the sideline and Fitz runs out shortly after that clip ends, but why is Leonhard slowing up?

I'll cut him some slack since he snagged the Pick 6 later in the game. But yeah, that's odd that he stopped playing before the whistle blew.

He should've been playing to the whistle but I sort've cut him some slack, Fitzpatrick was running to the sideline with Ray's pursuit and then literally cut up on the chalk. Gotta be careful with QBs around there as ref's love getting flag happy with QBs along the chalk. Even so, should've been following through and making sure Fitzpatrick went out, kudos to him tip toeing for what was what? An extra five or ten yards?

That's the thing, say his foot did step out and the whistle blows, then he destroys him, 15 yard flag instantly. This is the problem with the NFL now, defensive players are scared to draw a flag so they play softer.

Totally agree. Although, Flacco did benefit from this on a few scrambles in the Giants game. So its not always bad.

I think he knew the Fitz would avoid the hit and step out....More importantly, I think he was enjoying the hit from Ray Bowling over Huzever!!:hammer:

Ray gave Whoseyermama a mild concussion, prompting the Bungle to say:

"Yeah, (Ray Lewis) saw me coming," Houshmandzadeh said. "I was hurt for a while after that. I had a headache. I just saw Fitz running, and I didn't think anything about it. I was just trying to get a block. Ray saw me at the last minute, and you see what happens when he sees you." :rolling:

lol, that's a great quote, that means both top Bungle receivers have been laid out by Ray while trying to make a block.
