.... that we play the Bungals this Sunday?
A divisional opponent, on the road is never an easy thing no matter what team you are playing.
Yet I am reading this board and all I am hearing is stuff about Skins fans showing up at our stadium and even more looking ahead at the Shittsburgh game. Two of the first few threads right now are debating about teams we do not see this week.
I certainly hope the team is not doing the same thing the majority of fans on this board are doing.
One game at a time my friends!

Amen my friend. We need to be worried about one thing, and one thing only. A team that would like nothing better than to throw a wrench into our plans this weekend. There is no team in the NFL that can't beat you on the infamous "any given Sunday".

And that is why Harbs is doing such a great job! Regardless of what the fanbase is saying, Harbs has this team (and the coaching staff) ALL FOCUSED on the job at hand.

He sure is!!
Harbs didn't (probably pretending) even know who was ahead of the Bungals game when asked about the Redskins in his Monday morning press conference.

Ok ..... so what's worth discussing about the Bengals game? Will Ocho Stinko ham it up for the cameras while his team takes another step closer to the #1 pick of the 2009 draft?

That's coach-speak for the players. Sorry, I'll start worrying about the Bengals next Sunday around 12:45 pm. Until then, I'm more interested in Ravens playoff speculation, the Redskins fans invasion, burning inbreds' piss rags, and the pending parking disaster after closing Lot J!

Ask the Giants if it was just coach-speak after they played the Browns.
Or maybe ask the Redskins of the same after they played the Rams.

Do ya think the Giants and Redskins players were looking past these games? It doesn't matter what the fans focus on with upcoming road games.

I am really worried about the Bengals game. They have had 3 extra days of rest and preparation, which is HUGE. We do not play well there (2001/2003/2005/2006/2007 have all sucked) and this is basically their Super Bowl this year. We gotta smack them in the mouth early, get out to an early 10-14pt lead, and then they will become the 1-9-1 Bungals. If we keep them in the game, the Football Gods may throw them some good luck. It happens every year to crappy teams (ie Stover missing that easy FG in OT against Miami last year). Never overlook any opponent in the NFL, especially Divisional Foes on the Road.

I think, with apologies to Donovan McNabb, that the players know what's going on.
They know that the road ahead is tough and that the weakest of the 5 remaining teams (CIN) as a conference game is a MUST win. An absolute must. They lose this game, and they can kiss the playoffs goodbye.
That being said, it is a division game on the road so anything can happen.
We will know in the first 10 minutes how the game will turn out. If the Ravens come to play, it will be obvious.

Very True.
Just hoping it's not bleeding over into the locker room.

This exactly right! So far, Harbs has won each week I thought it was a "MUST WIN", and this week is no exception!! A loss here and Bye Bye Play-Offs!
Does anyone know when the last time was that we swept both Cincy & Cleveland in the Same Season?
If not, let me fill you in ... 2000!!
This is a Huge Game and other than the Squeeler game, the only one I consider a "MUST WIN" at this point!
This would make Marvin's Season!

It is not like the Ravens are sitting way out in front like AZ in the NFCW. They know they need all the wins, and would like to look good doing it.
The Bungles were dangerous week one when the Ravens smashed them and flushed the season away with a really rough start. They just lost the only 2 good defensive players on the team to injury this week. The CB #22 Joseph was playing very well, and they had no pass rush before they lost the best 2 pass rushers Rucker and Geathers. Rivers was playing pretty well at LB, but has not been replaced. The Bungles may come out with some fire and fight, but when the Ravens lean on them, they will fold.
It is intersting to note how bad the Bungles got when they lost a few key players to injury or free agency. They really make me think about how over rated a #1 WR can be. They had Ocho and Pony Tail all season and still sucked on O. The line and the Qb, and the defense all have to be there or the WRs are just ass clowns pouting in press confrences.

I agree that this should be an absolute easy win, and if it is not then we should not be in the playoffs anyway. That being said, we can't take it lightly because they have been known to play their best football against us at home every year. Any team's best is good enough to win a given game and so should not be taken lightly. I also agree that we will know the outcome of that game by the end of the 1st quarter. If we have any running game at all in the first, we will just bulldoze their defensive line. By the second half, they will look exhausted and we will just chip away at them, whether they are winning at that time or not. GO RAVENS!

Yes, it should be an easy win. Should be. It could also be a loss - stranger things have happened.
However, we as fans can talk about anything we like. Do you really believe that what we talk about on a Ravens' board will have any bearing on the outcome of this game, or any game for that matter? We can actually talk about who we think we'll play in the upcoming Super Bowl. The results of the next 5 weeks will not change one bit.
Just relax, fans like to speculate. There's no harm in that at all.
Look, I know a lot of y'all believe in Karma and all that. However, I must point out that if there really was karma involved, we would not have lost to the Colts on January 13, 2007. Things would've been righted on that date. Ehhh, I'm just messing around, but you get the point.
So far this year the Ravens have won every game that they should have won. Every game they were favored and then some.
It appears that they do stay focused on the lesser teams and I would expect nothing else this Sunday. I would worry more if Palmer were playing. We should be able to run on them and hold them to 14 points, TOPS.

Our defense taking on Ryan Fitzpatrick?
Excuse me if I'm more worried about Jason Campbell and Ben Roethlisberger
