Everytime a Ravens game comes on during the week when I log on my facebook I get a message from my friend (A Colts fanhttp://www.degroat.net/pix/thumbsdown.gif) And he'll go on and on about how we should start Troy Smith..... Then during the game anytime pressure gets to Joe... I have to hear from My step-father and Brother (Cowboys fans http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v58/Honushi/smilies/neutral.gif)
; "Troy Smith would have gotten out of that" or "Troy could have broken that tackle" Even if Joe throws a perfectly good pass and the WR drops it; "Troy would have completed that"....

Ex. After a bad showing of offense in the 1st quarter against the Eagles they
started the "I would put Troy in he would do much better against this defense"

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v58/Honushi/smilies/neutral.gifhttp://img84.echo.cx/img84/2518/hissyfit8wr.gif SHUT UP!!!!!!

Drop it..... Joe is our guy. He's led us to a 7-4 record. To pull him out right now would mess with all the progress we have made with him. Give it up with the Troy Smith dreams He's a very very good back-up but Flacco is the better choice. If he wasn't then I trust that Coach Cam and Hue would have saw this....

SO hopefully next game (Nov. 30th against the Bengals) I can celebrate my birthday without hearing "Troy Smith could...." or "Troy Smith would have...",

1. You have poor taste in friends .... a colts fan? ;)

2. What do expect an opposing teams fan to say?

Why not just get rid of Facebook? :229031_confused2: Internet stalkers use those things, anyway. Plus it would lessen your stress.

Nothing wrong with Facebook.

Stalkers, back before the internet, used things such as cars, phones etc.

Marcel,
I've encountered the same thing, and I know how old it gets. Troy Smith has 2 games as a starting quarterback, had the worst performance of the pre season, and hasn't done anything to lead us to believe he could do a better job. Some people just like to speak to hear themselves talk.

Joe Flacco is going to be an elite quarterback down the road. Just looking at how he's progressed in his rookie season should be enough to silence the doubters, though I "doubt" it will.

What can I say, some people just don't get it.

It will never stop ... the most popular player on any team during a loss is the Back Up QB. However the real problem here is that the other team fans are just pissed that we now have Joe and want to take any joy you have watching Joe away. Just tell them simple facts ... Hey guys your right ... Joe was a bad pick for the Ravens ... Now that we will be scoring points and all that stuff people will stop just talking about our great Defense and this will be hard to handle since we are not used to it.

Then point out to your Indy friend that his team still has NO HISTORY since the old Baltimore Colts players refuse to visit his teams new house. Your Cowboy friend has been living in Hell for years now so just leave him alone to cry in his wounds.

Wacko For Flacco!!!!! Lets GO RAVENS !!!
