I work in the LCD industry and have worked with a company that is trying to make 3D displays for Las Vegas entertainment. They have demoed the technology to me, and its really cool, but after 15 minutes it gives you a spliting headache. Expect this technology to not catch on for at least 5 years once they make enhancements.
