So, we pull into Lot B at around 9:00 a.m., and right next to our usual spot, these people were setting up cameras, and light screens for a photo shoot. As it turned out, it was the Ace of cakes show. 'Oh, it's so good to have you authentic tailgaters show up", they said. "Duff will be here soon".... Huh? Wha? All I could think of was Duff Man...Then they explained who they were, and after a few moments, our cohorts in tailgating showed up (a family with 3 daughters), and they were going ballistic! "Duff's gonna be here? OMG OMG, OMG". I finally had a flickering of recognition when they talked about the "Charm City Cakes" episode... I had read about it somewhere. Any hoo, another friend got his daughter on the phone, and let her talk to Duff, and now says he has a free pass for quite some time to come, at home.... It was like he was a rock star!!!!.... Go figure!

Duffy is a nice kid. He did an article on my road trips experiences for last season's Ravens Yearbook. He was easy to work with, and flexible.
He does a pretty good job of mouthpiecing Ravens stories, but he obviously is restricyed to writing the party line.

Chef Duff Goldman is a really nice guy. He did our wedding cake in 2003, before he was "THE Chef Duff". Back then his tastings were in his living room in Charles Village. No staff, no shop. But he was a wildly funny guy. At the time, I told my wife, "That guy should have a reality cooking show". Too bad I'm not a television producer!

Mista T - I think Rochard is talking about Duff Goldman, from Food Network's Ace of Cakes, as opposed to Mike Duffy, of Baltimoreravens.com.
Duff did our wedding cake too (last year). I thought he might be pompous or arrogant due to his success with the TV show, but he was very down to earth, relaxed and funny. We just talked about Ravens football for about 20 minutes, as my wife tried to tell him how she wanted the cake!
The cake turned out great, btw.

Ace Of Cakes! Rad...this is a great story...first we get the best swimmer since Mark Spitz and now this!
I think Duff and Guy (diner drive in and dive) party together. He does a lot of Baltimore spots. And I thank him for them!

Pretty sweet, dude seems like he'd be cool to hang with. That being said, the real story is when the Italian chick shows up, the one who LOVES to show off her cleavage....probably to take away from her giant mouth. When she swings by, make sure to grab your camera!!!
