Welcome back to another exciting year of Ravens football! Lovely to be here, and I'll be your game thread host for 2008. Please center all in-game comments to this thread, and we should have a nice discussion as I do play by play. Lots of good stuff to watch for tonight! Have fun, and enjoy the thread.

2nd and 9, complete to Figurs, gain of about 13, first down.

1st, PA, turns into a screen for Rice, makes some nice moves and gets maybe 2, but they read it really well.

2nd and 8, PA, Boller steps up, looks to run and dumps to Rice, gets him about 4.
3rd and 4, 4 wide, screen dropped by Rice. Probably wouldn't have netted a first, but shake those nerves out, kid.

2nd and 7, PA, incomplete for Bergen? Hits the turf. Flag down for holding on the Ravens. Slaughter looked ridiculous trying to stop Seymour.
2nd and 17, another screen for Rice, gets back around the 20, about 6-ish.
3rd and 11, fired to Mason across the middle, complete to the 39. No huddle on that play. Cam Cameron! Mason limps off slightly.

I agree but he still looks better than last season! It will take longer than 1 off season to fix all of his bad habits! I want to see what Cam has done for Troy now!! Flacco will just be plain fun to watch since we all know he will not start!

1st and 15, Jordan goes through the middle, gets 4.
2nd and 11, Jordan goes left, Washington stops him after only 4. Nice open field stop.
3rd and 7, Gutierrez takes off with pressure, gets 5-6, 4th down. Wow, extremely favorable spot for them. But it is short.

I think he looks better. His accuracy downfield is a 100% better, his short range accuracy still sucks...

His escapability is good, and more important then that, he is looking downfield when out of the pocket instead of just running...

Fabian Washington just made his statement for the starting CB position. I have the utmost respect for Samari Rolle, but when Washington got CARRIED OFF THE FIELD by Ivy, I think I just penciled him into my starting lineup

Ray Rice stat wise looked bad, but play wise looked very sharp. VERY promising kid.

The OL wasn't as bad as I was expecting, but I hope our starting Tackles get healthy soon....REAL soon :(

Harbaugh as a HC is showing a good start, but mainly because 1) we're seeing a whole new offense that makes me happy and 2) the guy just gets me fired up

Our D is showing a lot more pressure on the QB, picking up more sacks and hurries. But that really shouldn't suprise me.
