Maybe Kansas City will be good for his eyes.

As hard as this is to imagine, that offense down there might very well be in worse shape then ours.
I'd imagine signing devard darling to them is equivalent of us signing marcus robinson or frank sanders a few years ago.
Not a huge loss here, but nevertheless, a position that now needs to be replaced and hopefully with some level of an upgrade.

We have 3 WRs and a TE (maybe 2) that are going to be more productive. I wish he had panned out but he didn't. Good luck, Devard.

I actually thougth the guy was starting to show some promise. Wouldn't be surprised to see him become a pretty decent #2 receiver.

He might, but we have Clayton and DWill who are more promising. We need a homerun threat and he isn't that. We have a team full of more proven 2nd tier guys.

Just something about his football head that I never liked.
Maybe going through the motions if he wasn't the first or second option, but that is a guess.
The talent sure looked like it was there.

I liked what I saw last year of Matt Willis in preseason, sorry to see him cut, glad the Ravens saw enough to eventually practice squad him, then activate him late in the year after the injuries.
Didn't get a chance to show much, only 1 catch in 4 games, but I'm hoping we have DD replacement already on roster.
We will see what happens in draft and FA, but DD leaving I don't think hurts us at all... and I do hope they make him a big part of their offense so we get a nice comp pick :D

Although he admittedly never did squat for us, I'm actually a little sorry to see him go, because I thought he could turn out to be good. Of course, I also thought Patrick Johnson would be really good too, so what do I know.

Well, I wish him well in KC. It's not as though we'll miss him, since he never played that much anyway.

Good. He single handedly lost us that Dolphins game for us. More than the missed FG, the not going for it on 4th down, it was his drop and his pussying out of the endzone on the last play of regulation that cost us the game.

The only good thing I can see out of losing this guy after 4 seasons of developing him into a decent #3 WR would be that we will no longer be forced to read the nerdy nickname that some of the prepubescents at the Scout board gave him: "DVD".

This seems like a non-news event to me. Kinda like how MaryAnne just got caught smoking pot. I've already spent too much of my life thinking about it...

Yes, but at least it gives you a chance to revisit that age-old question -- who's hotter, MaryAnne or Ginger?

I think I would have gone for MaryAnne -- Ginger looked and acted high-mantainance.

That's not even a question. MaryAnne and it's not close.
