Arena league

for those of us still craving football, the Arena league has started its season; they'll be on ESPN2 on Monday nights.
The AFL used to be in a bunch of small-medium market markets (Iowa Barnstormers) but now I see all but one of their 17 teams is in a city with at least one other 'major' league (KC, NY, LA), the exception being the Cedar Rapids team (the Rampage).
I see also the AIFA is trying again in Mariner arena. good luck Mariners!!!
no, it's not the NFL, but it's fun, and it beats watching the Orioles lose 90 games again.

Its on TV on Saturday afternoons too, ABC carries it. At least they do down here. I watch it sometimes when its on, but don't really get into it.

The Orlando Predators are a good team to watch as well.

I like watching the Arean league when I get a chance. The problem last year was that ESPN2 was airing the games and then it seemed as if they stopped and no other mention of games were discussed. (Maybe that was only me that heard nothing).

I Love the Soul, but ABC here carries lacrosse on Saturday afternoon, at least they did last year.
