Too bad it will be the NIT. They are done, they played their hearts out for a good stretch but don't seem to have anything left in the tank.

Look forward to participating in the battle to be the 66th best team in the country.

Anytime you shoot 37% from the field as a team, you won't win many games, no matter who you play.

You might want to try and figure out what "OT" in the title means? :chill

Not to mention many Ravens fans are indeed Terps fans.

And there isn't much going on with the Ravens (as seen by the big slow down in the number of threads and posts) so what's wrong with a little Terp talk?

Yesterday was abysmal. And Im not surprised.

They were on a little bit of a roll but then losing to the Hokies and the 'Canes, doesn't look good for them.

if they can beat clemson, and 1 more regular season win, along with one win in the tourny, they will make the dance, 4 teams will go from the ACC, and that would keep us in 4th.

If and it's a big if, they either win or are runner up in the acc tourney they'll get in.

I don't get this.

There are 3 games left.

What if they win all 3?

They would be in no matter what happens in the ACC tourney.

IIRC, no ACC team with 10 regular season conference wins has ever been snubbed by the Tourney.

I realize that winning out isn't a lock by any means.

However, it's not impossible.

Their ACC tourney performance and what they would have to do in that tourney to get in the NCAAs is far from determined IMO.

Say they go 9-7 in conference. I believe 2 wins in the ACC tourney gets them in in that scenario.

Agreed..if they win out they will get a bid. But 2-1 or 1-2 and no wins in the ACC tourney and I think they are NIT bound...again.

"The Terps will make the Tournament"

And the Wizards will win the NBA Title........The Orioles will win the World Series.....The Ravens will win the 2008 Super Bowl....:ref: :261695:

I hope this thread was meant to be :261695: because I dont see them winning a game in the NIT

I was saying they will be in the NIT. Not the real Tournament.

I feel that this year's team has overachieved.
They have been at thier best when the ball is evenly distributed and during their streak that was evident.
They are neither in or out at this point. Virginia and Wake are away, while the Tigers are a home game. If they get two out of those three they should be in good shape, pending how the tournament plays out.
I do see about 4 teams from the ACC getting in and that would put them at 3 or 4.
