So I treated myself and bought a custom authentic Unitas Ravens jersey via NFL Shop (in Baltimore Purple, not white so people wont think it was a Dolts jersey).
I wore it out last night to do some shopping and other errands around here in Houston. I was in the grocery and I heard a little old lady behind me state in a shaking voice "It's a shame about Johnny". This lady went on to say she used to live in Hampden for 45 years, but had to move to Texas be closer to her kids. She cannot take care of herself anymore and needs her kids help.
She went on with a story about how she met Johnny right before he died and it was a thrill she had been waiting for ever since he was Baltimore's QB.
Before I walked away, she said the two things she wants to see before she dies are the records returned to Baltimore and another Ravens Super Bowl win. :)
Not really a debacle until her son made some shitty comment about how he loves the "true Colts" in Indy and blah blah blah. I feel bad for that old lady she has raised such a retard!
