View Full Version : Classless and Weak Indy "Fans"
First off, every dome team has "loud" fans. Second, they are about 10% as loud when the Irsay team is down. Third, and what makes them classless, is booing the girl who won the punt, pass and kick competition because she represented the Patriots. What a bunch of corn-pone hacks.
Can you tell which team I am rooting for?

Same team we're all rooting for.
That last PI call on San Diego was some bogus ass bullshit right there!!

My best friend teaches up there and lives about five miles from the RCA Dome. I told him if he became a Colts fan I'd kill him.

Glad the girl laughed it off.
Most of those people are totally ignorant about football. All the know is that horseface is supposed to throw TD passes on every down. I saw this first hand in 2004.
And is SD getting royally fucked by trhe officials, or what?
Listen to that crowd now, loud but not even close to where they were as SD moves (Turner just almost fumbled). This is when they NEED to be loud and they are pissing down their legs as Volek and Turner and some 5th round pick drive on their "top" defense.
TD VOLEK! WOOHOO! It's a funeral home in that hole.

I dont think Rivers yelling at the fans at the end was classy either
Neither do I.
I've seen alot of stuff out of Rivers that would put him in the jackass catagory which puts him in my dislike column of players.
Today though, I dislike him less then I dislike the idea of the Colts winning.

No, because back in those days I had to work Sundays.

He needs to shut his mouth.
And that PI call on SD was absolutely the worst PI call I have ever seen.
Too bad the NFL and ESPN couldn't have their Indy/NE matchup that they obviously wanted.

Glad to see Indy lose, maybe Peyton won't get EVERY single commercial on TV next year.
The only problem I see now is that as earlier in the season the Cheatriots and Roid-ney Harrison are going to beat the Chargers by about 300 points. I thought the Colts were the only team that had any sort of chance to end the run.

Living in Indiana, I can certainly attest that Indianapolis "fans" are incredibly unknowledgeable and some of the biggest front-runners in the NFL. Despite 5 straight 12 win seasons, a Super Bowl title, and playing in the smallest stadium in the league (indoors too!) they still haven't matched the BALTIMORE Colts record for consecutive sellouts, let alone the Ravens' current streak. As soon as they become mediocre again, their "fans" will disappear. They're pathetic.

Yeah Rivers is getting to a a bit a dick lately, did anyone see the Broncos game and he was making fun and taunting Jay Cutler from across the field? He is getting a bit of an attitude with the winning. I also remember seeing him yell at his own fans when they booed him....a bit of a hot head....not good when you need to be calm in the storm.

Heck, they can barely sell out the perfect weather-conditioned dome; there was no way they were going to stand outside when it was 25 degrees for a parade, even if they could go inside at the end of it. Why do that when you can go to a high school basketball game instead? :rolling:
Another of my favorite things about Dolts fans is that they all have "their" teams. So when the Dolts suck, they have a "backup" team to root for. They claim it's because they all adopted teams before they stole the Colts and have kept their allegiances. I would think after 24 years you could drop your "old" allegiances but not these frontrunners.
Usually on Monday I see everyone wearing their (stolen) blue jerseys. For some reason I haven't today. :rolling:

Unfortunately there are classless fans in every city.
But there was a measure of satisfaction listening to the deafening silence from the RCA Dome. It felt good.
Phillip Rivers is a clown. Only he would continue to get into it with fans on his way to the locker room and then take the time to yell at fans behind the bench. While he, stood on the sidelines due to his own stupidity and didn't even take part in the defeat of the team down the stretch.
I like Manning and think he's a great player.
Actually, I like him too. I thought he was one of the best hosts SNL has had in quite a while and certainly the best athlete.

Secondly, I may get slapped around for this but I was actually rooting for the Colts because I truely believe they were the only team in the AFC capable of beating the Pats. Plus I can't stand Rivers bitching about everything. Now with him injured and LT hurt SD has no chance and hopefully the Pack win in the NFC because then its all of America against NE.

I’m rooting for the Pats.
They have shown poise, class (with the exception of Billicheat and Harrison) and might make history that we may never see in our lifetime. They have blown teams out, stayed in the close games and have come from behind to win. Brady is one hell of a QB. I understand everyone’s dislike them and know I’m in the minority here, but they are a team we should be emulating, not hating.
I only hope our next head coach makes us as good a team as they are one day.

I honestly feel if we could finish in the top 15 on both 'O' and 'D' each year, we'd be contenders year-in and year-out!!
I also know, that as of today, we've pushed them farther (actually BEAT, if not for a stupid TO) than any other team has, so I take special solace in that as well!!

I'd like the Pats to win, and then lose the Super Bowl to Favre and the Packers. How great would it be to see them go 16-0 and roll through the playoffs, only to lose the big game at the end! And we all know what happens to Super Bowl losers the following year.
I never really minded the Chargers much until I saw how Philip Rivers conducts himself. He is a true classless and immature douchebag and I really don't look forward to seeing him scream at the Pats fans from the sideline like a spoiled child.

I hate the Patriots. This hatred has only been stoked this season. Not because of their pursuit of perfection. But rather these reasons.
1) The Boston fans. I am officially sick of the "woe is me" syndrome that these bean eaters profess year after year. You have Da Sox, and now the Celts have resurrected themselves and you have ESPN's Bill Simmons mention Boston at least twice a column. Enough. It's time for a new city to win.
2) Vince Wilfork
This guy is a flat out classless bum. a)Patriots DT Vince Wilfork was fined $12,500 by the NFL for this hit on JP Losman of the Buffalo Bills. Notice how as he is falling his elbow magically rises up into the knee of the Buffalo QB. Losman missed several games with a knee injury. b) Three weeks after his cheap shot against Losman, Wilfork was fined $5,000 for a hit against Jason Witten of the Cowboys. c) In the final game of the season, Wilfork poked his fingers through the facemask and at the eyes of Brandon Jacobs of the Giants. He was fined $15,000 by the NFL.
Also mention that on that last one no penalty was given as the officials stared right at the play.
3) Bill Belicheck
February 25, 2007 — New England Patriot coach Bill Belichick has been supporting his alleged mistress - a New Jersey housewife in the midst of a divorce - by sending her envelopes stuffed with cash and buying a secret $2.2 million Park Slope town house for her use, court papers allege…
Vincent Shenocca, who owns a stucco business, contends his wife has committed adultery with William Belichick at various times and places presently unknown. He told relatives he intercepted FedEx deliveries to Sharon that held cash from the coach…
Sharon, who met Belichick in the 1980s when she was a receptionist for the New York Giants and he was the team’s defensive coordinator, insisted he was just a “family friend”
4) Randy Moss
When being questioned about his frequent lack of effort during games he famously said “I play when I want to play”.
I guess he changed his tune this year. He has tremendous ability but is a tin man in the heart department. His comments post-Ravens were laughable.
"We are the Patriots. We don't trash talk." Yes, Randy and that 10 minute "conversation" you had with Dwan Landry in the endzone was about world affairs.
5) Rodney Harrison
long been recognized by fellow players as one of the dirtiest players in the league. This season he was also honored by the NFL with a 4 game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy after he admitted taking Human Growth Hormone. (He also proved his intelligence by ordering the HGH online in his own name) Anyone who watched the Jags game last week saw Mr. Roid Rage in action as he was flagged twice for late hits and should have been chucked as he actually argued the calls which were plain as day.
6) We are allowed to run up the score, you are not.
The same New England Patriots who go for it on 4th down when they are up by 38 points in the 4th quarter and say "it is the other teams job to stop us" didn’t always sing that tune. In 2002 when the Patriots beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Steelers did their best to score in the final seconds of a 30-7 game that they were losing. After the game, Tedy Bruschi said:
“I did have some respect for that team, but after what they pulled on that last drive, it’s totally lost now" Bruschi said. “You’re getting beat….just accept it with class. I know we would have if the tables were turned. But they’re out there calling timeouts, trying to get extra yards, padding their stats”
7) Get back on the field!
In early 2007, former Patriot Ted Johnson told the Boston Globe that he suffers from severe depression which he links to the approximately 30 concussions he sustained during his career. He told the Globe a story about a concussion he suffered during training camp in 2002, and how Bill Belichick made him return to full contact practice against Johnson’s wishes and before he was medically cleared by the Patriot staff. On his first day back to practice – he suffered another concussion and was immediately sent to the hospital. Johnson’s teammate Roman Phifer told the Globe “What they did to Ted was just wrong.”
8) "Bitter" Bill part 2
As his legend has grown, Belichick, rather than bask in his accomplishments, has appeared increasingly petty, vindictive and miserable. Watching him callously shove that photographer who was blocking his path to former assistant Eric Mangini following the Pats' playoff victory over the Jets – and, after the obviously insincere hug, pushing his way past another cameraman – was a major turnoff to many fans. His joyless blowoff of the popular Tony Dungy during their postgame handshake in November, whatever his reasons, showed once again that Belichick isn't all that stressed about how others perceive him. Just as Barry Bonds' prickly nature wins him no points with media members and most fans outside of San Francisco, the lack of warmth projected by Belichick (even in relation to his typically tight peers) causes anyone not already cheering for the Patriots to resent his success.
9)Patriot propaganda
Somehow, it's not enough that New England has the best owners, coach and quarterback, not to mention an accomplished talent evaluator (Scott Pioli) and a slew of really, really good players who understand and follow their assignments. The Pats also have to proclaim that their culture is superior. It's true that the Patriots have a solid locker room full of respected leaders, and that's a major reason guys like Moss and Corey Dillon have put aside turbulent pasts and thrived in that environment. But this whole "winning with class" thing? Barf. First of all, the Pats talk plenty on the field – even Brady (Tom, not Nancy) got into with some Steelers last Sunday, the way Joe Montana used to in his early years. They talk trash before and after games as well, though usually under the guise that they were provoked by an opponent's disrespectful words. They also taunt; just ask LaDainian Tomlinson, who took such great offense to the postgame behavior of some Pats players after their playoff victory at San Diego in January that he called Belichick "classless." Never mind whether LT's comments were justified; just know that many outside observers – and players for other NFL teams – are of the opinion that the Pats' holier-than-thou self-image is garbage.
10) Spygate
Though he was fined $500,000 by the NFL, and the organization was docked another $250,000 and a first-round draft choice, Belichick never came clean. The coach tried to hide behind a technicality while insisting he hadn't intentionally violated the rule. Then, beginning with the team's Week 2 blowout of the Chargers, the Pats adopted an attitude that cast themselves as the aggrieved party – a "how-dare-you-question-our-excellence?" middle finger to the world.
Oh poor you.
Having said all of this I really hope that someone knocks them off but the reality is that it's highly unlikely. They are a great football team and that part can't be taken away.

Indy is now up to 38 consecutive sellouts. Again, playing indoors in the smallest stadium in the NFL, during an era in which practically all games are sold out.
The BALTIMORE Colts had 54 straight sellouts in the 50's & 60's when few games were sold out.
By the way, the Ravens have now sold out 96 straight home games.:)
