Daughter Admin got a new puppy. He is an English Springer. We named him Billick in honor of genius coach.

Psych!
His name is Barley since it is decreed that all canines in our household are somehow named for a beer or to do with beer.
You can't see it in this photo but he has his Ravens collar on. He is 8 weeks old today and seems to poop and pee a lot more than our last two Springer pups.

Nice, my folks have a Springer. He's a Ravens fan too, he doesn't know he is....but I do and thats all that matters.

He just had to be English huh?
:grbac:
Damn Steve, I thought you were talking about a real English pup.

Yup, we have always had English Springers. It's a hard habit to break. They are awesome dogs. Not too big but not too small, alert, intelligent, great watch dogs. This is our 4th since 1991.

Congrats on the new addition to the family. :)
My sis has been bugging the hell out of me to get a pooch, sounds like this could be a good breed to get? the only drawback is that I travel a lot (to Baltimore!) so I'd either have to find a sitter or a kennel.

Very cute puppy. And when he's a little older I'll congratulate you on that, because as you no doubt know, those first couple of weeks when you are housebreaking them can seem much longer than a week or two.
English Springers are nice dogs -- good choice.

Yes, and then about the time you get them housebroken they go into their chewing stage when no stick of furniture in the house is safe.
I sure wish they had the Ravens dog tags out here 'cause you can bet my mutt would have one.

Very, very cute. Congratulations on your new addition! It would look great with a Todd Heap jersey.

It would look great with a Todd Heap jersey.
That's mean; the dog would be hobbled all of the time, and your vet bill would be horrendous!

I put that stuff on my Chocolate Lab, and I swear she walks with her head a little higher now!
