Just read todays Sun - Preston actually make some sense for once = :ralph:
Schott as HC, Ryan as DC (assist HC) with Henderson (secondary), and Cam Cam as OC !!!
* Only one problem - its won't happen !!! :crazy: :crazy:
It's an Old 'journos' trick of putting the BEST scenario possible as the solution - knowing full well it won't happpen. It then allows him to slate the Ravens Top Brass when whatever HC and staff gets put in, as they do not match up to his choices. :worthy:

Didn't Marty allow LT to sit out the preseason?
There goes Preston's argument about not giving the superstars preferential treatment.
It's not going to happen...if for nothing else, I don't think Biscut wants to go through this again in 5 years when Marty turns 70.

I still think Bill Cowher is in the picture. Until we hear from him personally (and not his PR firm or lawyer), I think this is the owner's first choice. I just think the Ravens are being extremely quiet about it because they don't want to be embarrassed, like they were with the Cleveland Browns OC.

Cowher has to be the number one candidate. Until Cowher himself says so. I see him as the best fit for the ravens.

He did say so. On the CBS pre-game show this past Sunday he said he was not coming back until next season.

Is this such a bad scenario? As long as Schott can play more aggressive in the playoffs, I think this line up is not something bad at all.

Oh I didn't see that. Now I gotta find myself a new front runner.

Houston, The point of the thread is that it IS a great scenario! It's a fantastic scenario!! :banana: :banana:
It just ain't gonna happen - but will give Preston ammunition for when our coaching staff is sorted out ! As I said it's an old journo trick to speculate and then compare.
