But does anyone on here watch Lost?

I am totally addicted to that show and need some feedback. What the heck is with these others anyway.

I predict that there will be some inter-marriage withe the Others - if the show lasts that long! (20% dropoff since last season)

Inter-marriage :179421:

I think they'll kill each other off before then. Damn . . . . I wish I had one of those stun guns they carry around for the Pittsburgh game :rolling:

K, I am totally into this show as well. I was getting annoyed with the this season, I just wanted some "concrete" clues to mull over with the current theories. We got that tonite in the facts that:
a) Ben has lived on the island all his life (if we are to believe him)
b) The Others have contact with the outside world. (confirmed by tape)
Knowing what we know about the Dahrma Project including some form of genetic altering, including the creation of animals that live well past their expected life span, Ben and the others could be significantly younger then they appear.

I gave up on it...that show was driving me nuts. It seemed like every episode was the same...with about 45 minutes of re-hash from the week before with only one or two new "clues" thrown in.

Get it over with already LOL!

I am very patient about some things, but very impatient about others...tv shows like this, "Jerico", and "24" wear on my patience. I like simple stuff that doesn't drive me nuts....CSI's, Numbers, and any comedy show that makes me laugh.

Lost kicks ass. It's the clues and the stuff you find out when you watch a flashback that keeps me hooked. Like seeing Hurley on TV in Korea when Jin is delivering a message, and discovering Liz was at the hospital with Hurley. I download and scour the episodes like a vulture picking through a carcass :D

Season 3 started out a little weird, but at least they've answered some questions and the show is finally moving again. It seemed to stagnate a bit last season, much for the reason Crowdog stated. Too much backdrop and not enough action in the middle of the season.

I watch it on and off.But I feel pretty Lost while watching it.
Its the first show I know, where I feel like I need an hour with a shrink
after watching it.

Its Da plane boss!

I'm not sure I believe anything Ben says. And who are those other people that were working with Sawyer and Freckles?

I don't know how anyone could have watched this show from the start and not keep watching it.

I want answers damn it and I want them now :hammer:

And who are those other people that were working with Sawyer and Freckles?

I'm a thinkin' they are captives from the other part of the plane that crashed on the other side of the island.

Oh, and why did they make Kate wear that other girl's dress? What do you think they're building?

Where are Michael and his son? Why would they just let them go?

I know, more questions than answers. I thought it was interesting that Ben told Kate she would have the worst 2 weeks of her life, then what? What if you have to serve time on the chain gang before you are accepted into the others. I love the show, but fear it has lost some of it's appeal with the realization of who the others are. Next week we find out how things are going with the castaways (Locke, Eko et al)

Remember they took 9 people from the tail section, so they might be the other workers.

That's what I was thinking.

Someone at work today said that the girl that Kate was talking to (the one who wanted to know where Kate got the dress) was the French Woman's daughter.

I wonder what those people are building. The head guy was reading some kind of blue print.

That's true about the girl. She is also the girl who helped Claire escape from the Staff, where they were holding her to have her baby.

Lost is the type of show that can't win...

If they don't give you information, you get pissed because you want to know what's going on.
If they give you information, you get pissed because the secret is out and the mystery is deflated.

It's a lose-lose situation.

That said, I love it. So many good twists and turns. That show has a million questions to answer, and I think the writers are taking a stance that they will end it after 5 seasons to not become some looping in circles X-Files like sci-fi.

Jericho got picked up by CBS for a full 22 episode season, only the 2nd new show of the year to get a full commitment. Heroes was the 1st new show to do such. Jericho's ratings are up 36% vs. the same day & time last year for CBS.

Glad to see that Jericho was picked up. I enjoy watching it. I'm a Lost fan but this season is really starting off strange.

I'm afraid to start watching Heroes . . . . I already have too many obsessions. :insane:

i've caught onto Heroes, and I'm keeping my eye on Jericho. not watching it, but keeping filled in on plotlines.

30 Rock and Studio 60 have both got my attention, though I like 30 Rock better. Tracy Morgan is damn awesome on that show. "I've taken this boat everywhere! Miami,...Tokyo,...Denver..."

That program is a dilemma. I WANT to get into it, because people whose opinion I value (including LR) have stated how great it is. I have tried three or four times to watch it, and it just can't hold my interest. That sucks. Maybe like 'Twin Peaks', you just can never miss a single episode, or you're hopelessly "lost" (intended)

On the other hand, when 'Battlestar Galactica' premiered a year or so ago, my expectations were low. The original series back in the 70s was a loser, so I was stunned at the quality of the new version. Now, Galactica has become the highlight of my limited TV-watching week. Go figure...

I guess the thing with Lost is that you almost really had to watch it from the beginning to really understand what is going on. They do a lot of flashback that in turn helps you figure out what is happening in the here and now.

Did you guys watch this week?

What's the deal with Desmond not having any clothes on while the rest of them did? Also, wasn't Charlie in the hatch when it blew? How come he's acting like nothing happened? What's with Desmond telling Hurley that Locke gave a speech about going and getting his friends and then Locke actaully giving it to everyone when he came back with Ecko?

It's like things are happening in different dimensions.

Anyone think anyone from the weed farm is going to turn up somewhere in the future. Do you think Locke actually let the cop go or did he hunt him down before he could turn in his fellow farmers?

So many questions . . . so little time

The previews for next week look kick ass :179421:

P.S. I heard a rumor that there are two different groups of others. Good others and bad others. Hmmmm . . . . I haven't seen anyone good yet . . . . they all seem like baddies to me.

To answer your questions about this weeks show....I have no idea
LOL

Also I have gotten hooked on another show. My poor DVR is getting over worked. The Show is Brothers & Sisters. Anyone seen it? I love it. The writers are doing a top notch job and it's my favorite show now.
