With all the injuries, the Ravens really should look into using Super Foam (http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,91221-1286736,00.html)

Recently, US ski teams trialled suits containing D3O foam which successfully prevented serious injury when team members careered into fence posts and trees at speeds in excess of 60mph.

Hey, if it's working for US ski teams, it ought to work for the Ravens.

Quotes from chatterbox Bart Scott from the linked article:

Linebacker Bart Scott had a funny line about Suggs' ailment [pink eye], attributing it to the conditions at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

"It's the toxic fumes," Scott said. "We've got to quarantine that field."

QUICK HITS: With Baltimore (2-2) winless against the AFC North and on the road, Scott said he won't be picky about any win as the Ravens prepare to take on the 49ers' last-ranked offense. "To tell you the truth, I'd play Dundalk and McDonogh right now," he said.

It' stime to let Cody go.

:229031_confused2: Why? :229031_confused2:

It costs the team nothing to keep him. If IR'd, no roster spot. No cap hit from early release. There is no upside to cutting him.

But there is plenty of need for young defenders --- maybe he'll completely heal and be a contributor in the future.
