View Full Version : Kudos to Todd Heap

Many of you know that our favorite TE has started the Todd Heap Foundation, and one of its goals to to help underpriviliged kids.

My wife works at Franklin Square Hospital, and he just announced a $1,000,000 grant to its new Pediatric Unit. That's a lot of money, but what impressed me was that he wanted to drive down to the hospital himself today, with a bum leg, and meet with the staff and take a tour. All with no media coverage or fanfare. Of course, word leaked out and there is some media there (probably thinking his leg is worse than reported!).

I think we are fortunate to have a guy of this caliber representing this team. :thumbup:

He's one of my favorite sports players. A true role model. I hope he's still here as my older daughter grows up and can learn about him while she watches him play.

Nice to hear about guys like Heap w/ the Michael Vicks, Chris Henrys, and Tank Johnsons getting all the media attention.

He is a true asset to this team! You could not ask for a better guy (all around, off and on the feild) I would love to personally thank him, his wife and 3 adorable daughters for giving to the community for a very needed cause. God Bless him!!

Hopefully his Kamikaze style doesn't ruin his life after football.

That dude is a warrior who has taken some of the hardest hits I've ever seen and he just keeps on ticking.

Today in the Sun Paper it mentioned Todd Heap is giving $ 1 million dollars to the Franklin Square Hospital.

It will take way more than 1 million to make that hospital any good!!!!
