Dude, thats the same ring, it just wasnt photographed with profesional lighting. The name on it is case, and like the seller says, his sister recieved it as part of the front office staff.
Its also a womens ring, which are most likely made smaller.

Have any player rings yet come up for sale from XXXV?

Wonder what the rings cost at the time. 25k seems high but then never having won one I'd not be in a position to know.

Believe it or not they also gave Nestor Aparicio a ring! I've seen it! How does he get one? Maybe he really is on Brian's payroll!

I believe they gave one each to Nestor, Garceau and Bruce C. I also heard that they were told never to wear them in public but that may have been innacurate.

I'm pretty sure that in one of his "Moon" columns he says that he actually ponied up the money for a ring himself. Thats, DIE HARD!

Well per the superbowl website the league pays for 150 rings for the team, at a cost of around $5000 a ring + any adj for higher cost of diamonds or gold that year. So noone really buys a ring...its free! but they do cost about $5000. I know the cheerleaders even got them...guy that sits in front if me, his wife was one and he wears it the games.

Yeah they were about 5k when they got them.Nowadays they are much more expensive, when the Pats won their 3rd Sb Kraft spent like 25k on each one I think.

Media members like Nestor with close ties to the team were given the opportunity to purchase rings. No freebie. I remember Katie Lehan once said even she was given the opportunity to buy a ring, only because she cohosted the old Saturday night Ravens show on WJZ.

If it says 'CASE' on it, does that mean it belongs to Stoney Case?
