Rhys Lloyd. The kicks were short today and LLoyd is the guy that should have been trying that long field goal. Matt Stover is magnificent, but let's save him for what he does best - field goals under 40 yards and extra points.
David Pittman. Rolle is hurt, and neither Corie Ivy or Ronnie Prude are helping that much. Pittman just needs to mature, like right now.
Mike Anderson. Just the guy to take some pressure off McGahee, like Musa hasn't been doing much. What are we saving Mike for, our retirement account?
Kyle Boller. Obviously and most importantly. Don't wait till the next game either, *start Kyle Monday at practice.
* This team does not deserve Monday off.

I think we need someone to pass rush more so...Trevor Price missing is huge..People tend to forget that he demands double coverage:179421:

Don't see what is wrong with Ivy. He didn't get beat today.
I don't care either way with Anderson, Musa is already taking away too many snaps that should be going to McGahee.

I second this. Ivy wasn't the one getting toasted out there, CMac was. And McGahee needs to be getting more carries, not less. Musa's been fine though not spectacular, and honestly no one on this O has looked spectacular.

Thing is, McGahee needs more carries, but you to understand that the pass IS SETTING UP THE RUN. While I think McGahee needs to get to about 20 touches, that isn't the issue here. The issue is a defense thats getting smoked and an offense that takes 7 minutes drives to generate missed field goals.
We need verticle passing, passing into the endzone, and a quicker release.
We need to try Boller. Because McNair definitely isn't the solution past this year.

The official explanation for Anderson not being active is, injuries on defense have forced us to make a sacrifice at RB, where we have depth.
Makes sense to me.
Concerning Lloyd, activating him means deactivating someone else. Again, with the injury bug, unlikely to happen. Unless he could also play DE better then Dwan Edwards, and perhaps. . . hmmm. . . Now *there's* an idea. ;)

1. I'm high on Lloyd, but who gets de-activated to replace him?
2. Pittman needs to mature before he can really be respected at a starting corner level. If we put him out there over Ivy, instead of just not playing as well as Rolle, we might actually see some real "rookie" mistakes. I'd rather see Ronnie Prude over Pittman, since Prude has shown more on the field.
3. MA is a great guy, but I don't think he's going to come in and make a big splash. Not sure why he's been leapfrogged by Musa, but they're about equal in production. Use either or as a fill in when McGahee is too tired. When McGahee is ready to go back in, pull them and put him back in.
4. I wholeheartedly agree, and I think the majority of Raven nation also agrees now. Kyle is showing he's ready and Steve is definitley still feeling his injury. Let the kid prove himself while McNair heals up. If he tanks, bring McNair back in.
