I'd like us all to meet up where possible - I've got to meet up with Gordon as he has my ticket!! I've just booked my train arr 10:47 at Kings Cross. (Going back Monday morning)

Not got a hotel yet - will see where everone else is and work out what is best!!

Thoughts guys?

October 28th. Take lots of photos. I'd give my left doodad to visit that stadium.

It'd seem my brother in law will be taking my third ticket for the game. Shall get things moving with the UKNFL bunch to see if we're meeting up anywhere that we can all congregate and make a big hoopla of the day.

Will be arriving by National Express coach about noon @ Wembley stadium bus stop. Will give you a text when I get there.

I still have a bad feeling about our tickets. The money has gone out.And phoned ticketmaster, they are sending to the cardholders address which is mine. But never did get a confirmation email.

I won't believe it,until those tickets fall through onto the hallway floor.

Yeap Steve I'll take my digi camera and get a pic of everyone dressed up in their Raven gear. And the inside gametime razzmatazz.

It could be that the Dolphins are looking for their first win in London. But I cannot cheer for a team with Joey Porter on it.Go Giants.

I vote 'Big Blue' too !!!

I am not sure if we should wear Purple Combats - my feeling is that it's not a Ravens game - so doesn't qualify!

Wooohooo, finally got an email confirmation.I hear people are already getting their tickets by courier today. Thurs 4-10-07

We are in section 514 row 15 seat 20 & 21.

Booked National Express coach, arrive Wembley Stadium coach station 2.30pm
leave 9.15pm. Please don't go into overtime.

I'll just be wearing a Ravens jersey and cap,and if its cold,my Purple Ravens coat I got in Baltimore. So you should see me from a mile off.

:jester: I just 'won' two tickets to the tailgate party at Wembley, should mean that if we have two UKR's who can't make it - they get to the tailgate - then watch the match on a big screen - better than nothing:jester:

Anyone else got 'em? :D

I've got three tickets coming my way for the tailgate thing, doubt I'll use 'em though, sounds completely crap, probably be your usual burger truck with a cheap Giants or Dolphins facade.

At least we have a back-up plan plan - Chris and Toe are still looking for tickets to the game. If the UKR's can have the 'nod' on some of your tailgate tickets, we can look after more people! I think Chris may have a couple of mates who might want to use them!

Can you confirm please?

As I didn't get an email I guess I haven't won a place at the tailgate as per usual. No worries, they won't have any of Greg's mouth watering BBQ ribs there anyway.
[Suddenly feel really hungry].

Where are my Wembley tickets oh Ticketmaster? Don't fail me again!
You know with all the trouble I have had with getting these tickets I half expected Roger Goodell to deliver them himself.

RavenTD

Well the tickets are in the hands of Securemail company. They said they tried to deliver, funny I was home all week. Anyway I emailed them to deliver saturday. So I am home and dry.

Now its all on National Express getting Deb & I to Wembley.

Guess what,I wasted a whole day for the courier to show up Saturday so I could sign for the tickets, and nothing.WTF is going on I have never known such a cluster**** just to get 2 tickets to an event.

They sent me a letter saying the delivery could not be made in the first place, when I was home sick. Now I know why, because they didn't even bother coming.

That's crap, have you phoned them to complain again?

You can have them sent to your office, but you'll have to be there between 9 and 5.

The guy turned up at 6.15pm Saturday just as we were about to pop out and do some food shopping.Time for a Grbac.:grbac:

I did send Securemail a sizzling email before hand. And then a not so sizzling email after he turned up. A phone call would have been nice to tell me he was going to be late.Ah well its sorted now.

Righty then, my UKNFL folks are organising a meet up in Regents Park before the game. Drinks, food basically as close to a proper tailgate as we'll get not like the phony one that NFLUK have organised which will probably be your usual £4 burger and expensive watered down beer and awful live performances.

Would this be something folks would be interested meeting up at? Someone will probably bring a football down to have a chuck around as well if folks want but won't be required to take part obviously.

Interested, how many UKRavens is it we have coming down again?

A couple of Q's at this stage:
How for from the tube is it?
Whom is providing the food / drinks? (do we bring our own, or is someone providing it so we pay)

UKRavenStockers
10-17-2007, 05:33 AM
Tube - The intended meet up place would be a 10 minute walk from Baker Street station, two stops down the tube line (Jubilee line) from Wembley.

Food and drink - He hasn't said on food, assume that'd be a case of bring your own (but to be honest, picking up sandwiches or whatever would be a damned sight cheaper than buying an overpriced burger at Wembley, even at London prices. Booze if everyone chips in the guy organising has said he'll bring along a gross of alcohol so he can use his new cooler, haha.

So if you're interested and you give me a number of how many UKRavens would be in attendance I can float the idea of the UKRavens tagging along, or we can meet up in a pub somewhere else if we'd rather do that?

I'm with Gordon and his group - they are staying close to the stadium. We've got a couple of days to sort it out.

We perhaps need to get people on board for after the game!!!!

As TD is arriving by coach at noon @Wembley, Gordon has to get his tickets at the Stadium as well + I have to check into a hotel and meet with Gordon and Toe (phew) it seems a meet up other than near the stadium area is not going to work easily.

I'm just doing the newsletter - and I am adding the Block and entrance numbers to the info.

UKRavenGordon

Should be able to drop off a bag or check-in 11.30 then head on to Wembley toup to meet up with you.
