You just have to love the fact he tries to go lay the wood on Heap like he's going to make the highlight reel and Heap stays up and all Merriman can do is grab him after Heap's already fallen into the endzone. :rolling:

I thought he was the best LB in the league? He sure came up big today, didnt hear his name called but one time if that.

All I heard all morning on ESPN,"Merriman this,Merriman that" and he lays a freakin egg.

HAHA same here. What a great pic, Heap is so clutch and showed Gates isn't the only good TE in the NFL.

The Sun runs a story about Ray Ray & Merriman, comparing the 2 & passing of the torch & how Ray calls him his "little brother" (anyone else tired of this little brother talk?) & the linebacker who showed up to play yesterday was Bart Scott.

Merriman made the highlight reels, just not the way he wanted to.

Merriman overated?

Umm, no offense, but football-wise that was not an intelligent statement.

Every player out there has moments where they miss plays.

Anyone who can't see that Merriman is a BEAST and will continue to get better as he develops, is BLIND.

Agreed! Saw him play a bunch at Maryland, he was great there. Then Prowbowl and Defensive Rookie of the Year... he stays healthy, he'll be a force for years to come.

But, Heap got what he needed on that play!

4 -0 I'm Lovin' It! :kewl:

I heard his name called once...

It was when the announcer said "We haven't called Merriman's name once all day."
